IAF Membership
IAF is a global association of Accreditation Bodies, Conformity Assessment Body associations, Regional Accreditation Groups, and Industry associations. Membership in IAF is separated into the number of categories :

Accreditation Body Membership
: Accreditation Body Membership consists of the body that develops and manages the accreditation of bodies that perform conformity assessments, such as management system certification, product certification, personnel certification or verification. -
Association member
: Association membership consists of organizations or associations that participate in, use, accept or depend on the results of conformity assessments of institutions accredited by IAF Accreditation Body members. -
Regional Accreditation Group
: Regional Accreditation Groups consist of associations of Accreditation Bodies and other bodies that recognize equivalence in accreditation among their members in the region and purpose to establish and maintain MRA (Mutual Recognition Agreement).

Association Member
Association membership consists of organizations or associations that participate in, use, accept or depend on the results of conformity assessments of institutions accredited by IAF Accreditation Body members. Association member is not a certification body. But they are promoting certification body’s interests and developing certification schemes to meet market demands.
The Association members currently approved by the IAF are as follows.

• FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification)
: Develop FSSC 22000 certification process, a food safety-related standard approved by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) to introduce a food safety certification system suitable for the overall food industry -
• IATF (International Automotive Task Force)
: Develop certification processes and schemes for internationally identical automotive manufacturing and quality control -
• IFS (International Featured Standards)
: Develop certification schemes for food safety and quality control, and establish inspection processes such as food processors and packers to safely handle products -
• IPC (International Personnel Certification Association)
: Develop certification schemes for professionals and training course programs for personnel competence certification
In addition, Association members include organizations such as APEDA, CONFORMA, DTA, EFAC, EOQ, etc.

IPC
GPC is a full member of IPC, Association Member of IAF, and has signed MLA with IPC in relation to management system auditor certification and designation of training providers, providing auditor certification and training provider designation services.
