Internal audit should be conducted at planned intervals, but special audit may be conducted, if necessary, in the following situations.
- • When the management system is reorganized, or significant changes occur
- • When a major nonconformity occurs or when it is necessary to confirm corrective action for the audit findings
- • When it is necessary for management system maintenance or there is a manager's instruction
Internal auditor
An internal auditor is a person who is qualified as an internal auditor by the organization, and is selected as a person who is not directly responsible for the audited department to ensure objectivity and fairness of the audit process.
