ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
ISO 22000 is an international standard that stipulates the requirements of a food safety management system, and managing food safety hazards in all processes from food production to manufacturing, processing, preservation, distribution, etc. to ensure stability in food consumption. ISO 22000 was first enacted in 2005 and revised in 2018 to reduce food safety risks in line with modern food consumption styles.
ISO 22000:2005 - ISO 22000:2018 Gap analysis
- • By aligning the content of the standards to high-level structure, it has improved compatibility with other ISO management system standards.
- • Require increased involvement and participation of top management in the development, implementation and communication of new food safety policies.
- • Clarify the ‘Plan – Do – Check – Act’ cycle to ensure that processes are managed and improvements and opportunities are identified and acted upon.
- • Consider not only internal risks related to food safety, but also external influences.
"ISO 22000 Auditor" registration requirement of GPC
- Education level beyond secondary graduation
- Over 5 years of work experience (including at least 2 years of experience related to food safety management)
- Completion of ISO 22000 Auditor/Lead Auditor training
- Pass knowledge and attribution examination of GPC
- Audit log of at least 20M/D within 3 years
Transition registration from ISO 22000:2005 to ISO 22000:2018
Transition registration is possible if submit the ‘ISO 22000:2018 Training Certificate'.
